In the Bible we are called to pray for one another. As you come to
this page, please say a prayer for the people and situations listed
here.
If you have someone you
would like to add to
the prayer page,
please e-mail us at the
First Baptist Church
We lift up Rev. Dick Strong in prayer as he battles a case of
shingles. We pray for a quick recovery. Think of Elizabeth too.
She has recently recovered from a case of pneumonia. Keep
them both in prayer. Rev. Strong is serving as the pastor of
the Winthrop Baptist Church... Pam Fraser went in for knee
surgery this week. Think of her in prayer. She will be in rehab
for several weeks following the surgery... Chip Chaffee broke
his hand diving for a ball and is out for six weeks. He’s also
going to be out of work for a while. Think of him... Ken Taylor
continues to suffer from chronic illness and has been discouraged. Think of him...
We think of Frank Roderick in our continuing prayer. He thanks God that he
continues to do well after his surgery... We continue to think of Katie (Seder) and
Adam Karon in our prayers as little Stephen David Karon continues in the NICU in
Boston. We pray he continues to show signs that he is growing in size and health...
We lift up Penny Sargent in our continuing prayers. We are grateful that she and
Randy were able to get away for a few days recently... Steve Ohlund continues to
suffer setbacks with his battle against Minear’s disease. Think of him...
We think of Nancy Schuster who lost her mom and Fred Green who lost his
sister Martha in recent days.
We think of our men and women in the military. In particular we think of Carl
Soderberg, Nicholas Muyres, Brian Grillo, Tim and Aaron Rogers and Danny
Moriarty. We pray that God will keep them safe and bless their families as they
watch and wait for them to return home...
In our continuing prayers we lift up James and Shirley Murray, Nancy Oat,
Barbara Hayes, Robert Ellal, Lois Lopez, Doris Regets, Michelle Lord, Jim Roellig,
Robert Ellal, and Jean Roscoe.
